ST. IGNATIUS — The foot care clinics in the St. Ignatius Senior Citizens Center will now be scheduled on a regular basis. Nurse Jane Bronson will conduct the clinics on the third Tuesday of each month. The next clinic will be on Aug. 25. Those interested may get an appointment by coming to the center or calling.
The activities at the center for August are as follows:
— Bingo is played after almost every lunch.
— Lunches begin at noon.
— Quilters quilt in the center on Mondays and Thursdays.
— Lunches can be delivered to qualified seniors.
— Wednesday, Aug. 5: roast dinner, 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, Aug. 7: chicken casserole lunch
— Monday, Aug. 10: pinochle, 7 p.m.
— Tuesday, Aug. 11: board of directors, 10 a.m.; Ziti Alforo bake lunch
— Friday, Aug. 14: baked chicken and birthday cake lunch
— Tuesday, Aug. 18: shepherd’s pie lunch
— Wednesday, Aug. 19: pork roast dinner, 5:30 p.m.
— Friday, Aug. 21: corned beef casserole
— Tuesday, Aug. 25: footcare clinic; 10:30 a.m.; meatloaf lunch
— Thursday, Aug. 28: breakfast for lunch
