Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases for July 24-30:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Wesley Hamann, 40, fined $55; Sydney Leigh Frith, 20, fined $20; Kathleen Hatud Ryan, 34, fined $20; Steven Lee Samsel, 63; fined $55.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and were fined $20: Tawyna Lynn Janssen, 40; Daniel James Cartwright, 28; Nina Rae Robart, 73; Thain Emrys Bertin, 24; Steven Lee Samsel, 63.

Kelly Gordon Dupuis, 26, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of any drug (narcotic)-first offense. He was found guilty and fined $600 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Amanda Sue Hout, 25, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. She was fined $150 and $35 in court costs.

Tyler E. Crumb, 32, pleaded not guilty to speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit. He was found guilty and fined $100 and $35 in court Costs. Crumb also pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana (60 grams or less), first offense. He was fined $250 and $85 in court costs. Crumb also pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found guilty and fined $150 and $85 in court costs.

Rick Aubrey Fenter, 49, forfeited a $75 fine for unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway.

Wendy Jo Gorman, 47, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for parking in prohibited spaces.

Sybil Cearley, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to obey red (stop) signal.

Linda Darlene Ferris, 41, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for permitting an unauthorized minor to drive.

Ray Lewis Wright, forfeited $35 in court costs for exceeding 34,000 pounds tandem axle weight limit.

Jeanne Marie Domek, 60, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Christopher T. Harris, 30, forfeited $40 in fines for parking in prohibited spaces.

Kendall R. West, 52, forfeited a $40 bond for parking in prohibited spaces.

Benjamin Alvin Morris, 58, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was given a $250 fine and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. Morris also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense.

Samira Dib Johnson, 27, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.

June Haagenson Hommas, 81, pleaded guilty to failing to drive to right of roadway except when passing and was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

Austen Kyle Batt, 23, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.
