As we all try to get through the increasingly hectic and impersonal pace of modern life, it is perhaps soothing to know we are all in it together.
Ironically, we continue to impel its seeming ever-gathering speed even as we often express abhorrence over its dehumanizing effects.
Albert Camus’s philosophic rejoinder about hopefully living in interesting times does not assuage the overriding angst that if you miss even one sound bite laden newscast, you will be forever left behind.
We are all of our times, dancing with the artifices that brought us here.
