Ronan, Pablo fall hunters education class scheduled

PABLO — The Ronan-Pablo Fall Hunter Education course will begin Tuesday, Aug. 25, in Room 118 of the Beaverhead Math and Science building on the Salish Kootenai College campus in Pablo. Interested students are required to register online now at fwp.mt.gov. All classes are free of charge and open to hunters and non-hunters.

Only individuals 11 years of age or older at the day of sign-up may be certified upon successfully completing the course.

A parent or guardian must accompany students under 18 to the first night along with the signed forms from the website.

Pick up manuals at the following locations prior to class: Ronan Sports and Western, Westland Seed, Murdoch’s and Walmart in Polson. The entire manual must be read and chapter quizzes completed before the first class.

Class hours are 6:30 to 9 p.m. and will continue on Wednesday, Aug. 25, and Thursday, Aug. 27. They will begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 9 p.m. each evening. A mandatory field course is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 30. The test review and test will be on Monday, Aug. 31.
