Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Aug. 28-Sept. 3:
Marion A. Burnside, 36, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $100 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended. He also pleaded not guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. He was found guilty and fined $50, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended and credit given for 1 day. Burnside also pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. He was found guilty and fined $50, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended and credit given for 1 day.
Louis Benjamin Nesbit, 20, pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $100 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended.
Clancy B. DuBois, 46, pleaded not guilty to obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. He was found guilty and fined $100 and $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended and 2 days of home time given.
Jessie Lee Kolasinski, 25, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, third offense. She was fined $1000, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 335 days suspended.
Roger Paul Vanerem, 59, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was fined $600, $85 in court costs and sentenced to 6 months in jail with all suspended.
Dayton John Scott, 57, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
Jennifer R. Vert, 46, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing, in no passing zone.
Dusti Aileen Herring, 48, forfeited a $60 bond and $35 in court costs for speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed. Herring also forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating a vehicle which as not been properly registered.
Alan Lloyd Anderson, 47, forfeited a $250 fine and $35 in court costs for operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense.
Rebekah Nicole Cole, 31, pleaded guilty to operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. She was fined $50 and $35 in court costs. Cole also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. She was fined $250, and $35 in court costs.
Johnny Flores, 74, pleaded guilty to failing to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $1,000. He was gined $200 and $35 in court costs. Flores also pleaded guilty to failing to notify owner after accident resulting in damage to property/fixtures along highway. He was found guilty and fined $200 and $35 in court costs. Flores also pleaded guilty careless driving. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs. Flores also pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.
James Tanner Peterson, 23, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs. Peterson also pleaded guilty to failing to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $1000.
Angela Lynn Partida, 29, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operating of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. She was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.
Nicholas Jerome Berry, 24, pleaded guilty to intoxicated pedestrian walking or standing on roadway or shoulder. He was fined $35 and $35 in court costs.
The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Colton Lee Wilson, 25; Levi Jackson Halter, 34; David Bruce Sorenson, 48; Jacqueline Elm, 56; Gordon Andrew Reese, 77; Arnoldo Ulloa, 31; Derek Stuart Bettencourt, 33; Janay R. Wunderlich, 19; Albert Joseph Charette, 65.
The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Laurence Evan Pearson, 55, fined $20; Taira Jean Johnson, 45, fined $40; Robert Allen Mcclain Jr., 30, fined $55; Ashton Mccaleb Baird, 19, fined $65; William Beckwith Linas, 73, fined $85; Deborah Rose Gaddess, 42, fined $40; Robert Wilson Tedrow, 66, fined $40; Tracy Marie Norred, 57, fined $20; Sareena Dibmohammed Banna, 25, fined $20; John Arthur Koopmans, 18, fined $20; Christine Legros Friesz, 63, fined $20; Caroline Smith Knudson, 51, fined $20; Melissa Dawn Schultz, 45, fined $20.
