Polson

Polson Lady Pirates split their games again for the week – beating Thompson Falls on their home court Sept. 15 and falling to Columbia Falls on the road, Sept. 17.

At home against the Bluehawks, the lady pirates won three in their four-set match with Lauren Lefthand contributing 10 kills and Erin Simpson 27 assists on the team’s 33 kills.

In a hard-fought loss to the Columbia Falls Wildkats on Thursday, Haley Fyant had six kills while Erin Sampson added six digs and 13 assists for the Pirates. Polson volleyball will host Whitefish at home Sept. 24 before heading to Hamilton for play on Sept. 26.

Charlo

The Lady Vikings dominated both Two Eagle River and Hot Springs on their home court last week. Charlo grabbed quick victories against both visiting teams in two three-set matches. The Lady Vikings will play in the Arlee Tournament Sept. 26.

Mission volleyball had a tough week losing games against Bigfork and Libby. The Lady Bulldogs fell to the Bigfork Valkyries Sept. 17 and then to the Libby Loggers in two three-set matches. Sydney Castor has led in kills all season while Jordyn Eichert continues to lead in assists and digs. Mission volleyball travels to Florence on Thursday.

Bigfork def. Mission,  25-10, 25-8, 25-19.

Arlee volleyball came up victorious in both their games at home and on the road last week. The Scarlets traveled to Hot Springs Sept. 17, easily beating the Savage Heat on their home turf in three sets. They played Noxon at home Sept. 19, defeating them in a four-set match after dropping the second game. The Scarlets head to Seeley Sept. 24 before hosting tournament at home on Saturday, Sept. 26.

Arlee def. Hot Springs,  25-8, 25-23, 25-17.
