Flags flew at half-mast across the state in memoriam for Former Montana Chief Justice, Jean Allen Turnage. Justice Turnage, 89, passed away peacefully in Polson, Sept. 27. He was a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and respected well beyond his historic political career for his compassion and dedicated service to family, state and country.
