Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Oct. 9-15:
Douglas Jerome Hahn, 72, pleaded not guilty to operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs.
Jason Allen Ries, 48, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was fined $500 with $250 suspended and charged $35 in court costs. Ries also pleaded guilty to stop sign violation. He was fined $100 with $50 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.
Shane AB Stewart, 25, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $100 with $50 suspended and charged $35 in court costs. He was sentenced to 2 days in jail with all suspended. Stewart also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, second offense. He was fined $500 with $150 suspended and charged $35 in court costs. He was sentenced to 2 days in jail with all suspended. Stewart also pleaded guilty to failing to notify owner after accident resulting in damage to property/fixtures along highway. He was fined $300 with $200 suspended and charged $35 in court costs. Stewart also pleaded guilty to failing to give notice of accident by quickest means/apparent damage over $1000. He was fined $300 with $200 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.
Mark Ray Culp, 32, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $100 with $50 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.
Christopher Sheldon Hogue, 40, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Cory W. Hadley, pleaded guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was fined $500 with $250 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.
Matthew Paul Trogden, 27, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. Trogden also forfeited a $20 bond for seatbelt violation.
Hunter Royce Day, 24, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
Jennifer Jean Toren, 40, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Roxann Charlene Gaudern, 55, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for improper passing, in no-passing zone.
The following individuals were charged with seatbelt violation and fined $20: Roman Tyler Hall, 17; Lori Ann Kelly-Mitchell, 55; Jeriko Jordan Sias, 23;
The following individuals were charged with speeding: Brian Robert Knobel, 26, fined $55; Cameron Troy Sims, 25, fined $65; Riley Jade Haptonstall, 18, fined $105; Kimberly Marie Robinsdon-Slack, 42, fined $135; Thomas Mark Bettis, 40, fined $20; Leonard Owen Griffith, 61, fined $65; Ronald Ryan Gollner, 40, fined $20; Andrew Sparkman Beck, 51, fined $65.
Dennis Dwight Spence, 71, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
