Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Oct. 16-22:

Nicole Pride Paitson, 33, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of non-narcotic drugs, first offense. She was fined $1000 with $600 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

Jeremy Sandoval, 31, was found guilty of partner, family member assault, causing reasonable apprehension of bodily injury in partner or family member. He was fined $1000 with $900 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended.

Thomas C. Parker, 27, pleaded not guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, second offense.  He was found guilty and fined $500 with all suspended and charged $35 in court fees. He may complete inpatient treatment in lieu of House Arrest.

Mary Patelzick Howell, 93, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for following too closely, reasonable and prudent.

Krista Laverne Rodler, 48, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for careless driving.

Trevar C. McAllister, 18, pleaded guilty to possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. He was fined $100 and $85 in court costs.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Daniel Chance Blixt, 27; Shyla Elizabeth Cisney, 20; Joe Alan Paulson, 56; Michael Francies Baker, 50; Dallas Anthony Smith, 42; Ty Lewis O’Hern, 43.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Devin R. Koski, 48, fined $95; Jorn Edward Lindberg, 21, fined $20; Robert Wilson Tedrow, 67, fined $70; John Robert Deranian, 52; Sandra Thompson Hudson, 67, fined $20; Cameron Cox, 31, fined $20; James Peter Seifert, 65, fined $105.

Lyle William Thompson, 31, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. Thompson also forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation.

Enos J. Miller, 61, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for no/bad/inadequate load securement.

Kelvin Mark Huyser, 62, forfeited a $100 bond and $35 in court costs for no/bad/inadequate load securement.
