POLSON — Duct tape can’t fix stupid but it can muffle the sound.
I watched the first game of senior bowling on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and commented to Don Young that he wouldn’t see his name in the paper this week but he came back after I left and rolled a high game of 236. Cris Alter once again took high honors in senior bowling, rolling a women’s high game of 255 and 630 for a series but it was Alice Johnson who had a 739 high handicap series. Jim Funke rolled a 626 high series. Gene Johnson came through with a 769 high handicap series. “Alright, who are you and what did you do with Gene?”
Our Thanksgiving dinner, hosted by community churches, will be on Thursday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. To have a meal delivered or to get a ride to the dinner, call us at 406-883-4735.
Jane’s toenail clinic will be on Wednesday, Nov. 11, from 10 a.m.-noon.
Our lunch menu will be:
— Thursday, Nov. 12: baked ham, sweet potatoes
— Friday, Nov. 13: cheeseburger, jo-jos, lettuce and tomato
— Monday, Nov. 16: Navy bean and ham soup
— Tuesday, Nov. 17: hamburger gravy, whipped potatoes
— Wednesday, Nov. 18: hash brown bake, link sausage
All the meals are accompanied with vegetables and a dessert.
Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
