Editor,
It is with gratitude and thanks to our incredible communities in Lake and Missoula counties that we acknowledge the out-pouring of support and generosity of so many as the Maughan/Crenshaw/Niedens family endure the loss of a loved one: a child, a grandchild, a nephew, a cousin, and a friend.
After the loss of our grandchild we saw an amazing support system that came together to help. You literally donated thousands of dollars to assist. The area where Harrison’s parents had chosen for the “celebration of life” for our grandson was filled to capacity and actually overflowing with those who came to pay their respects.
The band from Hellgate — and even some who played alongside our grandson in Middle School — joined in in honoring his life and in telling short stories of how they met him and of what he meant to them.
I hope I might speak for all of us when I share my gratitude for your love and your selfless service to our family during this challenging time. Thank you for all you have done and for all of your caring, love and support during this time.
