POLSON — Friday evening saw a group of us piling onto Dean Durand’s decorated trailer and riding in the Parade of Lights, capping the evening with Jo Durand’s chili and toddies at the center. Sharon Kenitzer supplied the brownies. Thanks to Kelli Kinyon, Cathy Corrigan, Jo and Dean, Shirley Laisy and all who spent many hours making it all happen.
Jane’s toe-nail clinic will be on Wednesday, Dec. 9, from 10 a.m.-noon.
Cris Alter once again took two high spots for women at senior bowling. Alice Johnson took the high handicap series. Bob Elsberry took top honors for the men, rolling a 290 high game.
Our lunch menu for the coming week:
— Thursday, Dec.10: BBQ chicken, baked potato
— Friday, Dec.11: pork chow mein, egg rolls
— Monday, Dec.14: turkey rice soup, blueberry muffins
— Tuesday, Dec.15: meat loaf, baked potato
— Wednesday, Dec.16: barbecue sandwich, potato wedges
— All the meals are accompanied with vegetables and a dessert.
— Lunch is served from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
