CHARLO – The board and staff of Ninepipes Museum of Early Montana is gearing up for the 2016 Black Tie Dinner, which will be Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016 at the Allentown Restaurant in Ninepipes Lodge. The 16th annual event will feature guest speaker Ellen Baumler, a noted historian, author and storyteller from the Montana Historical Society.  Baumler authored “Girl from the Gulches: The Story of Mary Ronan,” and her evening’s topic is titled, “Ripples in a Pond: The Ronan Family Legacy.”

The fundraising event for the museum starts with a complimentary visit through the museum from 5-6:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Guests are urged to purchase tickets early to guarantee a seat; the entrée selections include prime rib, roasted pork tenderloin and wild Alaskan salmon. Tickets can be reserved by calling the museum at 406-644-3435 and leaving a name and call-back number or by making a reservation at the restaurant. The event includes musical entertainment, as well as silent and live auctions.
