POLSON — Bill Barron, who is starting his seventh year serving as Lake County Commissioner, will be the featured speaker at the Friday, Jan. 8 meeting of the Lake County Pachyderm Club.
He will give a recap of the challenges and solutions Lake County government has dealt with during the past year. He also will outline some of the issues he foresees in the months ahead. For example: How to provide county services now that tax revenue has been significantly reduced.
Anyone interested in learning about our government and important issues are always welcome at Pachyderm meetings held the second and fourth Fridays of the month in the meeting room of the Polson Rural Fire Department on Regatta Road near the Polson fairgrounds. Social time: 11:30 to noon; meeting: noon to 1 p.m..
