I have been serving as a state legislator since 2013. Montana needs a new Governor and someone who understands business. During my tenure, common sense bills like tax reform and infrastructure funding have been vetoed time and time again by our existing Governor. I believe that Montanans should be encouraged to participate in the economy — not stonewalled by more regulations. It’s clear that we need better leadership in Helena. Greg Gianforte, a Bozeman business man and personal friend of mine, has been traveling the state for six months meeting people and learning about the issues important to people in all regions and industries of Montana. He has been raising funds to judge whether Montanans might truly become enthusiastic about him running for Governor.
Greg will have to make his final decision about filing for office in the next few weeks. I would like to show him a huge push of support from us before the end of the year to encourage him to get in the race.
