Justice of the Peace Chuck Wall dealt with the following cases April 22-28:

Gary Lee Ramsey, 67, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.

Kenneth E. Hall, 61, pleaded not guilty to four counts of subscribing or making any statement on application for license that is false. He was found guilty on all four counts, and for each count was sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $500 plus $35 in court costs. The arresting agency is Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks.

Thurston L. James, 43, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended and credited for one day served. James was also fined $400 plus $85 in court costs. Additionally, James pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense, expired four years. He was found guilty, sentenced to 10 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Lance Vencle Smith, 20, pleaded not guilty to an amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license, expired less than 180 days. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs. Smith pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $150 plus $35 in court costs.

Amanda Jean Stevens, 23, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of driving without a valid driver’s license, expired less than 180 days. She was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with all suspended, and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Edward Joseph Kanduch, 64, pleaded not guilty for failing to yield to authorized emergency vehicle/police vehicle. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. Also, Kanduch pleaded not guilty to violation of motor carrier safety standards, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.

Dan Allen Walker, 60, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 suspended, and fined $400 plus $85 in court costs.
