Lance Albert Rishel
ARLEE – Lance Albert Rishel, 30, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, at Dublin Gulch in Charlo. Lance was born in Missoula on Jan. 4, 1985, to Terri Marry and Eugene Arthur Rishel, and has had a wonderful stepfather, Scott Fletcher, for many years. He was also a proud member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes.
Lance was raised in Washington and after graduating high school, he returned to Montana. He graduated from small engine mechanics in Missoula.
Lance was employed at the Sinclair Station/Allards Trading Post in St. Ignatius. His spare time took him fishing, which was his favorite pastime, along with riding his Harley. Lance loved to be surrounded by his family and friends. His contagious laugh and outgoing personality always attracted people. He loved having a beer and floating the river and was always up for a road trip. He touched many people’s lives and definitely left his mark everywhere he went.
His sister, Mary Ann Rishel preceded him in death.
Lance is survived by both of his parents; his daughters, Shailynne Rishel and Jasmyne Rishel; his brother, Joshua Rishel; sisters, Tammy Rishel, Tanya Rishel Colby, Teresa Rishel Wallace and Angela Rishel; and many nephews, nieces and extended family.
Services have been held. Memorials may be made to the Jocko Cemetery.
