The Polson Rural Fire Membership would like to thank the community for their support in the recent Fund Drive that raised in excess of $8,000 over the past two months.
This will greatly help in continuing to provide the best possible service for the District in the purchase of additional lifesaving tools and equipment along with protective gear and training needed for our volunteers.
At the January meeting of The Polson Rural Fire Board, the Membership was pleased to be able to present the District with a check to be used toward the purchase of much needed Thermal Imaging Cameras for the District. Given the price of the cameras, the District matched the Membership donation to be able to purchase three of the Thermal Imagers. One will be in apparatus in Station One at the fairgrounds, and the two additional units will be placed in the Big Arm and Irvine Flats Rural Stations, respectively. Again, thank you for your support and allowing us to fulfill our mission, “To serve the community by providing the best possible fire, rescue and other emergency response with well trained and equipped volunteers.”
