Editor,

Over the past 60 years I have watched our government turn their arbitrary and communistic rules on the innocent people they are hired to protect.

In 1950 Senator Joseph McCarthy charged that the State Department was full of Communists. So everyone sat and over the years did nothing.

Now under Obama dictatorship, poor people who have worked all their lives are to be penalized for not taking your Medicare and over-priced insurance. How much? $630, I believe.

Now, take a look at the charges made on a bill at a Missoula hospital in October, 2015: Room and bed, $1,462; Intensive care, room and bed: $2,269. Compare equal dosages of drugs: Ferosemide $16.38 compared to pharmacy cost of $3.52; Warfarin $12.19 compared to pharmacy cost of $3.53; Gabapentin $63.39 compared to pharmacy cost of $3.52.

If it is illegal to resell game tickets at an enormous profit, why doesn’t our government, who we pay very well to take care of us, stop this robbery? What is our state auditor doing at her well-paid job?

As I did not take out Medicare when I reached 65, I am now being fined and have to pay $153.60 for the rest of my life, or until our dear government decides to raise it again.

I worked since I was 13 years old. Where are our senators, legislators, governor and — oh, yes — our dear Obama?
