Mary Ann Schmitz
ST. IGNATIUS — Mary Ann Schmitz was born Sept. 7, 1924 and died Feb. 8, 2016.
Mary Ann was born to Christian and Catherine Feucht. Her husband Robert Schmitz; her mother and father; and six brothers and sisters: Ervin Feucht, Stanley Feucht, George Feucht, Jim Feucht, Louise Scott, and Nellie Feucht all precede her in death.
Her stepson; two step-granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews survive her.
Mary Ann married Robert Schmitz on July 14, 1943. Robert served in the Army Air Force during the war. After the war they lived in Woodland, California, where they operated an auto repair shop for many years. After retirement they moved to St. Ignatius where Mary Ann was born. They made many friends in the area. Mary Ann will be missed.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 2 p.m. in the Foster Funeral Home in St. Ignatius. Afterwards she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
