POLSON — When fish are in schools, they sometimes take debate.
Last week’s news was submitted too late but Frani Basta nearly did a repeat of sweeping the women’s senior bowling. She scored a 631 series and a 787 handicap series. Charlie Crevar, who rolled a 234, trumped her 618 high game. Bob Elsberry swept the men’s with a 288 high game, a 678 series and a 747 handicap series.
On March 23, Charlie Crevar once again was the high game with a 211, rolling a 537 for series. Keith Ross rolled 261 to take the men’s high game and his 610 series was high, just edging Don Young’s 607. Liz King’s 704 was tops for women’s handicap series and Ray Theiler’s 716 nailed the men’s handicap series.
The veterans’ representative will be here on March 4 from 10 a.m.-noon. Jane’s toenail clinic will be on March 9.

— Monday, March 7: corn chowder, chicken salad sandwich
— Tuesday, March 8: pork cutlets, rice and gravy
