CHARLO — Marvin Keith Harrington was born Feb. 15, 1931, and passed away on March 4, 2016. Marvin was born in a soddy house near Sulfur, South Dakota, to Phillip and Florence Harrington.
He married Rose Marie Carlson on March 4, 1953, in Brandus, Montana, and they had 6 children: Allen Harrington of Dewey, Arizona, Laurie Pinsonzielinski of Las Vegas, Nevada, Cheryl Wolf of Pablo, Arlen Harrington of Caddo Mills, Texas, Donna Whiting of Pablo, Scott Harrington of Derby, Kansas.
Marvin’s mom and dad Phillip and Florence and 2 brothers predecease him.
Marvin’s children; his grandchildren; his great-grandchildren; his brother Don Harrington of Hill City, South Dakota; his sister Deloris Deines of Buffalo Gap, South Dakota; many nieces and nephews survive him.
Marvin moved from Hermosa, South Dakota, to Charlo in 1974. He worked for Western Nuclear in Jeffrey City, Wyoming for a while, in a mine in Arizona for a while, then back to Charlo and worked for Colter Rose. The kids stayed in Charlo.
Marin loved to travel and do mechanic work. Marvin loved his family.
