Judge Sharon Richardson dealt with the following cases from Feb. 1-28:
Merle Bennarat Jore, 71, pleaded guilty to an amended offense of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, second offense. He was found guilty, sentenced to six months in jail with all suspended and given 30 days with a SCRAM bracelet in lieu of jail time. Jore was also fined $1,000 and charged $85 in court costs. Jore also pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof of insurance in vehicle. He was found guilty and fined $250 plus $35 in court costs.
Mark Bridges, 50, pleaded guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $50 plus $35 in court costs. He also pleaded guilty to a local speed violation, was found guilty, and fined $50
Arthur Root, 70, pleaded guilty to a local speed violation. He was found guilty and fined $45.
Marie Corcoran, 19, pleaded guilty to a local speed violation. She was found guilty and fined $50.
The following people posted and forfeited a $100 bond for speeding, in lieu of appearing before the judge: Caryn Miske, 47; Cheryl Richmond, 66, and she forfeited a $40 bond and paid $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration. Richmond also re-registered immediately.
