Nina L. (Kelly) Wilson
POLSON — Heaven received an angel on the morning of April 16, 2016. Nina Wilson was born in Lewistown, Montana, on Aug. 29, 1931, to Lester and Alice (Fluery) Kelly. She was the second of four children. She married Charles (Chuck) Wilson on Sept. 1, 1951. They had two children together: Jay and Shane Wilson. Nina and Chuck moved to Polson in 1968. Nina worked at Western B for 25 years, and then worked at Safeway for another five years before she retired.
Nina was a devoted wife for 50 years, mother, sister, aunt, grandma and friend to all. She would try to feed everyone that walked into her home, and if you left her place hungry it was your own fault. She was a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen when you needed to talk it out. She will be greatly missed by all of those whose lives she touched.
Nina is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Chuck, sister Rachael, and grandson Brett.
Survivors include her sons, Jay (Dina) in Libby and Shane in Polson; grandchildren Bradley (Whitney), Brock (Ashland), Kristopher (Sheri), Katarina (Mike), and Kaleb; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Easton, Hadley, Shiann, Shiine, Sundown, Brett, Riley and Sage; brother, Marvin (Chris) and sister Noretta (Gordon); and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a special woman who is a great friend, Barbara White. Thank you.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 109 Sixth Ave. E in Polson, at 2 p.m. May 28. Brock and Ashland Wilson will barbecue afterwards; side dishes are welcome.
