Unwarranted confrontation unhealthy

While innocently greeting people going by the Lake County Republican Women’s booth at the Women 4 Wellness Health Fair in Pablo on Thursday, my friend and I had a most unpleasant situation occur, twice. On two occasions we had women who appeared to be Democrats come by as if they were on a mission and, what I consider, verbally harass us. We were shocked. You need to know that we were not campaigning. We did not have any candidates’ names, pictures or voting suggestions on our display. We had free constitutions and flag brochures to give out and information on how to help build a Healthy America together. We were simply there to help support the Health Fair.
These two women have no idea what kind of women’s health issues my friend and I are involved in or what we do to help our communities. This kind of unwarranted confrontation is not productive and accomplishes nothing.
Please consider following this motto, “Be kind to one another, even if you disagree on stuff.”
