POLSON — It’s time to get out the red, white and blue and start decorating that float for the 2016 Fourth of July Parade in Polson. This year’s theme is the “Miracle of America.” Parade organizers are encouraging groups and businesses to prepare a float, decorate vehicles or prepare a marching unit for this holiday celebration. Entry forms are available from the Polson Chamber of Commerce at 418 Main Street or online on the Polson Events calendar at www.polsonchamber. com.
Entry deadline is July 3. The parade will begin at noon on July 4 at Cherry Valley Elementary School. Entrants will line up in front of the school, continue south on Second Street West and around behind Cherry Valley on Ninth Avenue. Parade officials will assign a number to each entry. Judges will select the winners of first, second and third places in various categories at Cherry Valley. All entrants are asked to line up no later than 11:15 am.
