SHAKER HIGHTS, OHIO — Lois Gregg (Darlington) died at her daughter’s home in Shaker Heights, Ohio, on May 31, 2016 after a short battle with lung cancer. She was 86.
There will be a potluck memorial/ celebration of life for Lois at her home on Flathead Lake, located off of old Highway 93 between Elmo and Dayton, (43677 Blackbird Lane), on Saturday, August 13, at 2 p.m.
Lois grew up in Sloan, Montana, and attended school in Round Butte and Ronan. She married Keith Gregg in 1947 and they lived in Montana, Oregon, Michigan and Illinois and spent summers on Flathead Lake throughout their retirement. After Keith died in 2004, Lois continued to live in Oak Park, Illinois, until 2011, when she moved to Shaker Heights, Ohio, to live with her daughter, Gail.
Her daughter Sharon lives in Detroit, Michigan, and her son Jim lives in Cut Bank, Montana. Lois has six grandchildren: Cammie, Ally, Keithan, Gabi, Leah and Laura. She brought much joy to her family and will always be their guiding star.
