POLSON — The Pirates lost a non-conference game to Beaverhead County/Lima Saturday night, 6-38.
Despite the loss, standings show the Pirates lead the Northwest A conference with an average of 212.33 yards rushing per game, more than twice the yardage of number-two Columbia Falls (104.5). Individually, Tanner Wilson and Colton Cote lead the league in rushing, averaging 88 and 85 yards per game respectively.
Polson also leads in punt yardage, averaging 34 yards per punt.
The Pirates travel to Frenchtown on Friday. Game time, 7 p.m.
