Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Sept. 14-21:
Charles Webb, 41, pleaded not guilty to privacy in communications, first offense. He was found guilty and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 7 days in jail with 7 days suspended.
Richard Dean Wiese, 77, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $200 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.
Davetta Mitchell, 50, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.
Tyle Joseph Olister, 24, forfeited a $50 fine and charged $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Mary Veronica Bawden, 61, forfeited a $50 fine and charged $35 in court costs for careless driving.
Marsha R. West, 67, forfeited a $250 bond and $35 in court costs for operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. West also forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation.
Jeffrey John Loomis, 50, pleaded guilty to careless driving. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.
Leonard C. Gergen, 65, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for failure to stop at invasive species management area check station.
Megan Christine Clairmont, 20, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for careless driving.
The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Kurtis William Snell, 26, fined $70; Jason Patrick Black, 30, fined $55; Timothy John Garrett, 55, fined $55; Cassandra Lea Normandeau, 30, fined $70; Jeffrey Dennis Gunderson, 52, fined $20; Joan Watts Datsopoulos, 73, fined $70.
The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Joshua Scott Bland, 24.
