Donald “Don” Buckley
CHARLO – Donald “Don” Buckley, age 83, passed away on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at St. Luke Community Hospital in Ronan. He was born on April 9, 1933, in Hysham, Montana, the son of James and Daisy (Scott) Buckley.
He enlisted in the U.S. Navy at the age of 17. Following his discharge, he worked for many years as a machinist at Boeing in Seattle. Following his retirement, he married Diane McKnight on March 24, 1995, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Donald’s parents; two brothers, Denny and Bud Buckley; and a daughter, Marilyn Wall, all precede him in death.
Donald is survived by his wife, Diane; his children, Mary Kay Carlson, Jody Berger, Barbara Buckley, Patty Carrol, Patsy Snodgrass, Don Buckley Jr., Tim Wall, Marty Wall, Chrissy Winders, Kelly Wall and Cory Wall; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and sisters Nancy Hegland and Katherine Foster and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services for Don will be held on Saturday, Oct. 29, at 10:30 a.m. at the Charlo Senior Citizens Center. Memories and condolences may be sent to the family at: www.shriderthompson.com.
