Alexis Shick scored a team-high 18 points in the Scarlets’ 75-44 loss to the Lady Bobcats in Superior Jan. 20.

Joining Shick in scoring was Mahalia Hendren with 12, but their combined 30 points couldn’t carry the team past the duo of Nicole Stroot and Cary Chamberlain, who scored 18 each for Superior. The Lady Bobcats led by 13 at the half and continued to dominate 21-4 in the third.

The next day, the Scarlets were on the road again, traveling to Hot Springs on Jan. 21.

The Scarlets were sizzling in Hot Springs, winning handily 62-37. Whitney Malatare, who scored five the night before, drained 16 points including a pair of 3-pointers. Shick’s offense was still hot as she tallied 21 points, and Hendren added 10.

The Scarlets (3-3, 4-5) stay in Arlee to face Loyola Jan. 26 and St. Regis on Jan. 28.
