What is the basic right of every human being in this nation?
Life. Without life there is nothing. Forget jobs. Forget the economy. Forget housing. Forget healthcare. Forget the budget. Forget everything.
Many Americans may be oppressed, abused, forgotten. But there is one group of Americans that are not even allowed to live.
In fact, the laws allow them to be killed before they even can see the light of day — killed by medical doctors when they are the most helpless and defenseless of all. Their plight is most desperate.
If they could speak from the darkness of the womb, they might say something like this:
Somebody love me, somebody care,
Somebody show me that you are out there.
Somebody answer, somebody call.
Somebody tell them, it’s no crime to be small.
