Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases Dec. 9-22:

Michael Eugene Wheeler, 51, pleaded not guilty to operating without liability insurance in effect, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $465 with $215 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended. Wheeler also pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was fined $465 with $215 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

Maxwell Elliott McLean, 23, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was fined $465 with $365 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Ann Marie Detwiler, 39, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. She was found guilty and fined $915 with $315 suspended, charged $85 in court costs, and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Victor James Mauro, 24, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $915 with $315 suspended, charged $85 in court costs, and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Peter Paul Lemer, 74, forfeited a $50 bond and charged $35 in court costs for following too closely, reasonable and prudent.

Jimmy Lee Jones, 33, forfeited a $125 fine and $35 in court costs for exceeding 34,000 pounds tandem axle weight limit.

Kayla T. Whealon, 18, pleaded guilty to careless driving. She was fined $65, with $15 suspended, and charged $35 in court costs.

Jason Robert Damon, 39, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for displaying fictitious, altered, etc. license plates.

Joseph Thomas Mitchell, 28, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was fined $915, with $315 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Cole M. Flaig, 22, pleaded guilty to speeding, exceeding restricted/ special zone speed limit. He was charged $70 and $35 in court costs. Flaig also pleaded not guilty to driving without a valid driver’s license. He was fined $585 with $335 suspended, and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 2 days in jail with 2 days suspended.

Charles Webb, 41, pleaded not guilty to partner or family member assault, causing bodily injury to partner or family member. He was found guilty and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

Zachary Snethen, 20, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (over age 18), first offense. He was found guilty and fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs. (Plea agreement)

Steve M. Hughes, 74, pleaded not guilty to public nuisance. He was found guilty and fined $150 and charged $85 in court costs.

Camrin James Irvine, 22, pleaded guilty to speeding, exceeding restricted/special zone speed limit. He was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs. Irvine also pleaded guilty to criminal possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana (60 grams or less), first offense. He was fined $500 with $250 suspended and charged $85 in court costs.

Layne Douglas Stotts, 23, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid driver’s license. He was found guilty and fined $535 with $400 suspended. (Plea agreement)

David Soto, 23, forfeited a $200 bond and $35 in court costs for driving without a valid driver’s license. Soto also forfeited a $250 bond for failing to carry proof or exhibit insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense.

Joshua Allen Jenson, 36, pleaded guilty to failing to have child under 6 years old and less than 60 pounds properly restrained. He was fined $50 and $35 in court costs.

Todd Andrew Stiger, 55, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was fined $550 with $300 suspended and charged $35 in court costs.

Thomas Daniel Emerald, 37, pleaded guilty to failing to carry proof or exhibit/insurance in vehicle, owner or operator, first offense. He was fined $250 and $35 in court costs.

Andrew Peter Schile Jr., 70, pleaded guilty to careless driving and was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

Fisher Thomas Shima, 19, pleaded guilty to careless driving and was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.

Jeremiah Francis Paul, 19, pleaded guilty to owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense. He was fined $550 with $300 and charged $35 in court costs.

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Levi Ty Wolf, 18, fined $70; Kailee Marie Steinebach-Salter, 21, fined $20; Lisa Marie Corum, 34, fined $70; Justin Allen Gravelle, 19, fined $120; Lynne A. Mcintosh, 58, fined $40.

The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and fined $20: Kailee Marie Steinebach-Salter, 21; Dylan Delos Robbins, 27; Travis William Adams, 31.
