ARLEE – On Saturday, the Ronan Chiefs scored 140.5 points, placing second as a team at the Western B-C Divisional Wrestling Tournament.
Mission-Charlo Bulldogs scored 78 points for sixth and the hosting Arlee Warriors scored five points to end 10th in team standings.
For the Chiefs, Hunter Peterson (126) won an individual championship by decision and Noah Cheff (132) won a championship by pin.
Trent Dennison (160) won an individual championship by decision for the Bulldogs.
Nine Chiefs and five Bulldog wrestlers will advance to the state tournament, which begins Friday in Billings at the Rim Rock Auto Arena.
In Dillon, The Polson Pirate wrestling team scored 203 points to place second in the team standings at the Western A Divisional on Friday and Saturday.
Parker Adler (138) and Hunter Fritsch (182) both won individual championships by pin for the Pirates. The Pirates will have fourteen wrestlers advancing to state on Friday.
