Sister Dorothy Zimmer
SEATTLE, WASHINGTON — Sister Dorothy Zimmer, age 98, a Sister of Providence for 73 years, died Feb. 21, 2017, at St. Joseph Residence, in Seattle, Washington. A Vigil Service took place on Monday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m., and a Funeral Mass took place Tuesday, Feb. 28, at 10 a.m., both at Mount St. Joseph, 12 West Ninth Ave., Spokane, Washington. Following the Mass and reception her burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane, Washington. Holy Cross Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Sr. Dorothy’s parents and siblings, Louise Zimmer Lucas, Paul Zimmer, Raymond Zimmer, Richard Zimmer, and Leonie Zimmer Pehan all precede her in death.
