David Compton
MISSOULA — David Allen Compton, 71, of Ronan, lost his fight with cancer on Feb. 27, at the home of his son in Missoula.
David was born in Deer Lodge on Aug. 31, 1945, to Melvin Compton and Delphia “Della” McDonald.
David’s parents; two stepfathers; a daughter; five brothers and two nephews preceded him in death.
David’s two daughters, Peri Sorenson of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Tina Reed of Reno, Nevada; a son, Mark Compton of Missoula; two granddaughters, two grandsons, four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Velma Kuntz (Henry) of Ronan and Bonnie Clay of Casper, Wyoming; three brothers, Arnold (Donna) of New Castle, Wyoming, Ray (Linda) of Gillette, Wyoming, and Rick Clay of Kalispell; and numerous nieces and nephews survive him.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
