The organizers of Soup’s On’s eighth annual Winterfest fundraiser wish to thank all who helped make the event a success. Thank you to all of the businesses and individuals that donated items for the silent auction. Thank you to all of the artists who created fabulous chairs for the live charity auction. Thank you to all of the volunteers in and out of the kitchen for all of your hard work, time and caring.
We still have daily soup service Monday through Thursday. We would like to invite new volunteers to help. If you would like to make your own team from your church, community organization, local business or even a circle of friends, you will be welcome.
Also, after the event, there is still the ongoing need of donated food or equipment. We’ve worn out several stoves and freezers, as well as the simple things like can openers, coffee urns, graters, blenders and food processors.
