Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases March 24-30:
James M. Butterfly, 55, pleaded guilty to driving without a driver’s license. He was fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs.
Alfred Roy Crowshoe, 20, pleaded guilty to attempting to purchase an intoxicating substance under the age of 21. He was fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs.
Daniel P. Goodwin, 58, forfeited a $150 fine and $35 in court costs for parking in prohibited spaces.
Peggy Frederick Keller, 52, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. She was fined $1000, with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Eric Marcus Sams, 20, pleaded guilty to following too closely, reasonable and prudent. He was fined $50 and charged $35 in court costs.
Levi Jay Foster, 31, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $500, with $400 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Gregory Thomas Koffler, 57, pleaded not guilty to driving on closed road/trail on State land. He was found guilty and fined $1050 with $950 suspended and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
Francis Anthony Davis, 38, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was fined $1000, with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.
David Elliot Wiley, 31, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000, with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.
Bryan John Collier, 45, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $550, with $200 suspended and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 176 days suspended.
Joseph Allen Caughey, 29, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was fined $4000 with $2800 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with $173 days suspended.
Dustin R. Clary, 34, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for operating a vehicle upon public highways without license plates.
Timothy James Starr, 36, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for insufficient personal flotation devices.
John Gilbert Ashley, 55, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister. Ashley also forfeited a $20 fine for seatbelt violation.
Jeremy Kenyon Taylor, 41, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for operating with expired registration, failure to reregister.
The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Roberta Rogers Hawkins, 54, fined $55; Ashley Dee Benson, 18, fined $85; Josie Lynn Brousseau, 17, fined $55.
The following individuals were found guilty of seatbelt violation and charged a $20 fine: Sarah Desiree Porrazzo, 31; James Toste, 61.
