The two major candidates, Rob Quist and Greg Gianforte, agree on many issues such as public lands and higher paying jobs, but it is where they disagree that should determine the winner. When one studies the key issues that affect Montanans, the decision is simple.
Rob Quist is for mandatory gun registration which has led in many countries to national gun confiscation. Greg Gianforte is against registration and is endorsed by the NRA with their top “A” rating.
Rob is for sanctuary cities that could attract criminals and other avoiders of U.S. Law to Montana. Greg is against sanctuary cities and supports enforcement of the Supremacy Clause of the U.S. Constitution which superimposes federal law, including deportation of illegal violent criminals, over sanctuary city non-compliance.
Rob is for single payer health insurance which discriminates against seniors by allowing a panel of faceless bureaucrats to determine their allowed treatment, often called “death panels.” Greg is for repeal and replacement of Obamacare with the ability to choose your own plan suited to your own personal needs.
Rob is for increased taxes and more welfare, such as free college tuition. Greg is for tax reduction to stimulate the economy and create higher paying jobs.
Rob supports the socialist policies of Nancy Pelosi, Bernie Sanders and Chuck Schumer including open borders for people who will not assimilate, nor share American values. Greg is aligned with policies which support true American and Montanan Conservative values including support of vetted and controlled immigration.
Our impending election pits two candidates against one another with totally opposing belief systems. Whose positions best represent your values? Your vote counts.
