SEELEY-SWAN – Brooklyn Olson fired a 94 on Tuesday capturing first place during the Seeley-Swan Invitational at the Double Arrow Lodge.
Olson won by four strokes over Elsie Brown from Thompson Falls. Gabby Wirz (eighth, 113) and Kim Van Der Laan (twelve, 123) also finished in the top fifteen to help the Maidens to a second-place team finish.
For the Chiefs, Chance Deneault carded an 81 for a fourth-place finish at the meet.
At the Anaconda/Deer Lodge Invitational on Thursday, the Maidens finished second and the Chiefs placed fourth in the team standings. Top ten finishers for the Ronan golf team were Vinny Bird-Webster (fourth, 85), James Farmer (eighth, 89), Brooklyn Olson (fifth, 100) and Gabby Wirz (sixth, 106).
