POLSON - The Lady Pirates pummeled visiting Whitefish 18-0 and 20-1 in the season finale doubleheader on Friday evening.
At the plate, Haley Fyant went 6-for-7 with two doubles, a triple, a home run and seven RBIs. Fellow Lady Pirate Camas Renault also had a good series going 6-for-7 with a double and three RBIs.
On May 16, Polson fell 5-1 to hosting Columbia Falls in league action.
Thursday, the Lady Pirates play Fergus (Lewistown) during the first day of the Class A State Softball tournament in Sidney.
