He was ordered to pay $7,959 in restitution.
Michael Pierre Grant, 34, of Polson, was given a three-year deferred sentence for criminal possession of dangerous drugs. He was originally charged with criminal possession with intent to distribute after police searched his residence on Oct. 6, 2016, and found methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana paraphernalia, a digital scale, $205, a .22-caliber rifle with the serial number obliterated, an AK-47 rifle, 30-06 rifle and a 12-gauge shotgun, according to a court document. Grant was given credit for one day in jail and ordered to pay $710 in fines and fees.
Kenon Tevyaw, 19, of Polson, was given a three-year deferred sentence with credit for two days in jail for criminal endangerment. He was originally charged with aggravated assault after he hit a woman and broke her eye socket, lacerated the back of her head and forehead and bruised both sides of her neck, according to a court document.
Cedric Jaylin Russell, 25, of Ronan, was given a two-year deferred sentence to the Department of Corrections with credit for 66 days in jail for criminal possession of dangerous drugs and a one-year deferred sentence for bail jumping. The sentences are to run consecutively.
Bernina Sunrise Vanmeter, 43, of Polson, had a two-year deferred sentence for criminal possession of dangerous drugs revoked by video conference. She was given a three-year deferred sentence with credit for time served. Manley said she refused to complete the Elkhorn women’s treatment center program and has a meth addiction. He recommended she be placed in a women’s recovery center in Flathead or Park counties and ordered that she be placed on house arrest with her stepfather until then.
Judge Kim Christopher sentenced the following person on May 25:
Felicity Lene Caye, 31, of Elmo, was given a three-year sentence to DOC with no time suspended for criminal possession of dangerous drugs. A second charge was dismissed as part of a plea agreement. Some $1,375 that was found during one of two traffic stops in which Caye was charged is in dispute. Defense attorney Ben Darrow said the funds came from property that Caye sold on the Blackfeet Reservation. Christopher told Darrow to produce documentation of the sale, otherwise the state will keep the money.
