Justice of the Peace Randal L. Owens dealt with the following cases April 29-May 25:

The following individuals were found guilty of speeding: Blayne Orlo Underdahl, 23, fined $20; Brandon J. Braach, 27, fined $85; Matylin Nicole Workman, 18, fined $20; Robert Kenneth Toews, 61, fined $65; John Leonard Barnes, 47, fined $20; Nora Liza Batiz, 34, fined $55; Jeffrey Adam Shafford, 34, fined $20; Vivian Marie Gelormino, 40, fined $70; Robert Jordan McClensdon, 28, fined $120; Stephanie Cecille Wolfchild, 38, fined $185; Robert Jordan McClensdon, 38, fined $120.

Joseph Benjamin Martin, 24, forfeited a $100 fine and $85 in court costs for possessing intoxicating substances while under the age of 21 (under age 18)-first offense (citation issue date 2013). Martin also forfeited a $160 fine and $25 in court costs for reckless driving-first offense (citation issue date 2013). Martin also forfeited a $510 fine and $75 in court costs for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia (citation issue date 2013). Martine also forfeited a $510 fine and $75 in court costs for criminal possession of dangerous drugs-marijuana (60 grams or less)-first offense (citation issue date 2013). Martin also forfeited a $75 fine for unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway (citation issue date 2013).

Colt W. Jore, 35, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

Rocky Layne Olson, 33, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $500 with $250 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended. He may complete 6 days of house arrest in lieu of 2 days in jail.

Colt W. Jore, 35, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of negligent endangerment (substantial risk-death/serious injury). He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 365 days suspended. 

David E. Paulson, 31, pleaded not guilty to the charge of habitual offender operating motor vehicle. He was found guilty and fined $1060 with $800 suspended and charged $25 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 351 days suspended.

Slade Tomasgray Cook, 24, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid drivers license. He was found guilty and fined $500 and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 176 days suspended. 

Christopher L. Sasser, 25, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $300, with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

Eric Marcus Sams, 20, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was fined $1000, with $400 suspended, charged $85 in in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 179 days suspended.

Peter Zaremba, 46, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for improper passing in no passing zone.

James Carlyle Swain, 24, forfeited a $100 fine and $35 in court costs for failing to pay DFWP fee. 

Daniel James O’Roake, 29, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was fined $250, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended (sheriff labor detail program).

Alexander C. Gano, 25, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving, first offense. He was fined $300, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Steven Charles Vert, Jr., pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended.

Albert Bays, 54, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.

Comfort Trellis Bolen Sr., 39, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of operating with alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent BAC or greater, first offense. He was fined $1000 with $400 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended. Bolen also pleaded not guilty to disorderly conduct. He was found guilty and fined $110 with $75 suspended and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended.

Robert Ronald Steinebach, 43, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was found guilty and fined $2000 with $800 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 358 days suspended.

Michael Lee Brown, 32, pleaded not guilty to reckless driving. He was found guilty and fined $300 with $100 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

Chris Jay Jacobsen, 61, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, second offense. He was fined $2000 with $800 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 365 days in jail with 358 days suspended.

Jackson Jore, 23, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol, first offense. He was fined $1000 with $400 suspended, charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 1 day in jail. 

Zacheri Eugene Zeigler, 27, pleaded not guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol. He was fined $250, with $100 suspended and charged $85 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

Dennis Michael Erickson, 69, was found guilty of non-resident license or permit offenses-unlawful purchase of or apply for residence license by non-resident. He was fined $1000 with $500 suspended, charged $35 in court costs and all hunting, fishing and trapping licenses suspended for 18 months.

Diane Worley, 57, forfeited a $75 bond for unlawful possession of open alcoholic beverage container in motor vehicle on highway.

Ashley May Mock, 19, forfeited a $50 bond and $35 in court costs for ROW violation, failing to yield to vehicle on through highway.

Jonathan Michael Cook, 28, pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. He was found guilty and fined $250 and charged $35 in court costs (citation issued 2-18-16). Cook also pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked (citation issued 3-28-16). Cook also pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found guilty and fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs.

Allison Jeanne Fangman, 33, pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked. She was fined $250, charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 178 days suspended.

Tami Dianne Tyree, 48, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for improper passing-in no-passing zone.

Joshua Dean Boggess, 21, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for improper passing-in no-passing zone.

Alexander C. Gano, 25, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for failing to slow/use caution/move away from a stationary emergency vehicle/police vehicle.

Ashley May Mock, 19, forfeited a $50 fine and $35 in court costs for ROW violation, failing to yield to vehicle on through highway.

Robert T. Tibbetts, 27, forfeited a $50 fine and charged $35 in court costs.

Michale D. Phillips, 38, was found guilty to the amended charge of driving without a valid drivers license on five separate dates between May 2015 and May 2016. He was fined $500 with $400 suspended and $35 in court costs and sentenced to 180 days in jail with 180 days suspended for each charge. Phillips was also found guilty of owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, third and subsequent offense on two separate dates in April and May 2016. He was fined $510 with $250 suspended, charged $25 in court costs and sentenced to 10 days in jail with 10 days suspended for each charge.

Brittney Marie Wersonick, 31, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of reckless driving, first offense. She was fined $200 and charged $35 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days in jail with 90 days suspended.

James A. Oschmann, 71, pleaded not guilty to the amended charge of disorderly conduct. He was fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs.

Cook also pleaded not guilty to driving a motor vehicle while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked (citation issued 3-28-16). Cook also pleaded not guilty to criminal possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found guilty and fined $100 and charged $85 in court costs.
