Patricia (Patsy) Marie Orr Miller

RONAN — Patsy was born on Aug. 12, 1944 in St. Ignatius to Marie Trahan Cowen and William Harrison Orr Jr. She was a member of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribe. She was 72 years old when she passed away at St. Luke extended care in Ronan on May 19, 2017 at 2:25 a.m.
Patsy’s mother, Marie Cowen; father, William Harrison Orr Jr.; her son, Richard Flegel; sister, Diana Joyce McKee; brother, Russell John Orr and her husband, Herman Miller precede her in death.
Patsy lived in Idaho, Oregon, St. Louis, Missouri, and California before moving back to Montana where she lived in Pablo and then Polson.
She was a cook for the CSKT Senior Citizen Center in both Polson and Ronan. She also cooked in Hot Springs. She was a great cook and very knowledgeable about all who came to eat at the center. There was always a lot of joking and laughter and some good music and just good communication from one to the other.
Patsy also sold Avon until she had to quit work because of her illness with cancer.
She loved to dance and party a lot. Her favorite color was pink.
She will be missed by a lot of friends and family.
Patsy is survived by her sons, Beau Miller, Theo Miller, Timothy Flegel; her sister, Janet Enos; her brother, Billy Kehoe; her two aunts, Eileen Quist and Theresa Morigeau; two uncles, Richard Orr and Hank Trahan and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She requested that she be cremated with no services.
