Judge James A. Manley sentenced the following person on Aug. 16:

Victoria Bea Fisher, 57 of Missoula, was sentenced to five years in the Department of Corrections with all time suspended except for 13 months for her seventh DUI. She was ordered to complete a treatment program to be selected by DOC. She was charged following a June 4 traffic stop on U.S. Highway 93 near Light Road. Fisher made an open plea of guilty without a plea agreement.

Judge Kim Christopher sentenced the following people on Aug. 17:

Donny Michael Prindel, 35, of Pablo, received a total of seven years with the Department of Corrections with four years suspended for deceptive practices, possession of dangerous drugs and bail jumping. Prindel was guilty of using someone else’s debit card and possessing methamphetamine and hydrocodone. Two charges of possession of dangerous drugs were deferred as part of a plea agreement, and a charge of bail jumping was dismissed.

James Nelson Richard, 53, of Polson, was sentenced to 13 months in DOC for criminal endangerment. He was originally charged with his fourth DUI on Jan. 4 following a traffic stop in which he was driving well below the speed limit. Richard had a blood alcohol content of .222 and was driving on a suspended license, according to a court document. “This is probably an opportunity for him to save his life,” county attorney Steve Eschenbacher said. Richard was ordered to wear a SCRAM bracelet and pay $710 in fines and fees.

Shawn Michael Mears, 20, of Great Falls, was given a deferred prosecution agreement following his arrest for possession of dangerous drugs during a Dec. 12, 2014 traffic stop in which police found psilocin, or hallucinogenic mushrooms. Mears was driving 89 mph in a 70 mph zone and an officer said he smelled marijuana emanating from the vehicle, a court record states.

Paris Anne Moll, 24, of Ronan, received a deferred three-year sentence for possession of dangerous drugs. She was given credit for 11 days in jail and ordered to pay $710 in fines and fees. As part of a plea agreement, a charge of possession of dangerous drugs was dismissed and charges of criminal mischief, assault with a weapon and criminal trespass were deferred. According to a court document, police found 13.5 hydrocodone pills during a traffic stop on Aug. 31, 2016 and methamphetamine during a March 16 traffic stop. Moll was also originally charged for an incident on April 9 in which she allegedly used an aluminum baseball bat to shatter two windows in a Chevy Impala, a rear windshield and window of a Chevy Monte Carlo, and a window and sliding glass doors at a residence. According to a court document, the windows of Moll’s Lexus were allegedly smashed and she was attacked by residents of that same residence earlier that day.
