Rice wins another title for Arlee, Jacen Peterson wins at Ted Kato Tourney for Mission-Charlo

Both Mission-Charlo and Arlee made a strong showing at the Ted Kato Tournament at Thompson Falls this weekend as the Bulldogs finished third while the Warriors were seventh.
Arlee's Cole Rice and Mission-Charlo's Jacen Peterson both won individual titles as Rice won first in the 145-pound weight class while Petersen won the 152-pound championship.
Rice's title came after a pin of Superior's Josh Wright in 2:34 while Petersen picked up a 6-1 decision over Zach Newbary of Florence.
Mission-Charlo also had a trio of second-place finishers as Scotty Gilleard was second in the 130-pound weight class, Barret Sargent earned second in the 171-pound division and Chad Anderson was second in the 215-pound class.
Both teams had a pair of third-place finishers as Morgan Shultz and Dillon Edwards finished third for Mission-Charlo while Zach Tameler and Leif Rova were third in their weight classes for Arlee.
Austin Rubel and Clayton Trimble picked up fourth-place finishes for Arlee while Colton Toren was fourth in the 145-pound division for Mission-Charlo.
The Warriors were also in action Tuesday as they competed against Darby and Plains.
Rubel and Cody North both picked up a pair of wins for Arlee on the evening while Rice, Nathan Bertolt, Rova, Alex Hoskinson, Curt Sidel, Jordan Radio, Al Plant, Trimble and Logan Potts all picked up victories for the Warriors.
Both teams will be back in action Saturday at Darby.
