POLSON – Polson students from high school through kindergarten and residents of Polson took part in a week’s worth of homecoming activities showing their Pirate pride which lead up to the Friday night football game against the Libby Loggers.

Homecoming activities throughout the week included a parade, pep assembly, float construction, tailgate party, dress up days, purple and gold day and crowning of the king and queen.

Hundreds of Pirate supporters watched along the streets of downtown Polson, on Friday afternoon, as the homecoming court, sports teams, marching band, cheer squad and more than a half a dozen floats made their way from the high school to the parade’s end at Linderman Elementary.

The 2017 king and queen are seniors Russell Smith and Laurel Bitterman. Others on the court are Quinn Motichka, Kyler Lundeen, Hogan Kelley, Shade Main, Sarah Newell and Sam Schultz.
