CHARLO – On Friday night, Tyson Petticrew ran 40 yards for a touchdown and caught a 37-yard scoring strike from Landers Smith as Charlo beat visiting Troy 66-8 in a Class 14C game. In mop up duty, Garret Vaughan carried the ball five times for 59 yards and 3 touchdowns along with tossing a 36-yard touchdown pass. Bridger Foust added another two touchdowns on 3 carries for 28 yards.

RONAN – Chiefs quarterback Eric Dolence went 12-of-22 for 136 yards and tossed a 43-yard touchdown to Ezekiel Misa on Friday night in a 51-6 home loss to Columbia Falls in a Northwestern A match up. 

WHITEFISH – The Polson Pirates won their second game of the season on the road Friday evening. The Pirates slipped past Northwestern A Whitefish foe 16 – 10. Pirates quarterback Bo Kelley went 8-of-15 for 95 yards and tossed two touchdowns to Trevor Schultz and Ryker Wenderoth. Koby Garcia rushed 21 times for 54 yards and Colton Cote rushed 11 times for 50 yards.

PLAINS – The Mission Bulldogs fell 34-12 to hosting Plains on Friday. Troy Mitchell threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Flint McPherson, and Gus Bosley scored on 26-yard rushing touchdown for the Bulldogs.

 

Volleyball

ST. IGNATIUS – Mission Lady Bulldogs Afton Brander had seven kills and four blocks in a 22-25, 17-25, 25-20, 19-25 loss to visiting Thompson Falls on Thursday. River Gonzalez had a team high 13 digs and Sophia Tolbert added another 10 digs and 15 assists for Mission. 

On Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs beat visiting Deer Lodge in five sets 13-25, 25-20, 21-25, 28-26, 15-13. Tolbert scored three aces and had a game high 30 assists, while Gonzalez had another team high 20 digs.

ST. REGIS –  Kaitlin Cox had seven kills and four aces to help lift the visiting Charlo Lady Vikings to a 25-16, 25-21, 25-14 sweep of St. Regis on Thursday. Teaira Truman had a team high 13 assists and both Kara Tatukivei and Destiny Manuel add eight digs apiece for the Lady Vikings.

Plains swept the hosting Lady Vikings 25-18, 25-7, 25-17 in Class 14C action on Saturday. 

ARLEE –  Arlee swept Victor 25-22, 25-16, 25-14 in a home game on Friday. Ashley Revis had three blocks and eight kills to lead the Scarlets, who also had four aces from Haley Crawford and nine assists from Sydni Rogers.

On Saturday in Class 14C action, Arlee defeated visiting St. Regis in straight sets 25-7, 25-10, 25-5. Mikayla Rieken had a Scarlet team high nine kills, while Rogers dished out 16 assists.

PABLO – In Class 14C action, visiting Noxon defeated Two Eagle River 25-2, 25-11, 25-6 on Thursday.
