Many thanks to the members of Cub Scouts Pack 47 and Boy Scouts Pack 47, their leaders, and parents who picked up the garbage along Highway 93 on Polson Hill this past weekend. Pack 47 has volunteered to do this both spring and fall for years. Their dedication to community service is to be celebrated and commended.
We only wish the people who toss trash out of their cars or haul uncovered loads of garbage to the Transfer Station would remember it is good-hearted people such as the Scouts who have to pick up after them.
