Editor,

After reading the article about the CPS worker who’s been charged with raping a woman in her own home, it occurs to me that this CPS worker was given the public’s trust to do a job for the community. If he then betrays that trust in a predatory fashion, our community is not safe. His alleged manipulation of the victim did not just happen in the spur of the moment. I think that this perp has been doing this for a very long time and that he preys on the weak and vulnerable and gets away with it. This victim had the courage to turn the perp in, and that perp is now walking the streets of our community? Are you OK with that? I know it disturbs me, what about you? Judge Christopher, aren’t you supposed to protect the citizens?
